BSES Rajdhani Power Limited, or BRPL, is a Delhi-based power distribution company. It is one of the two electricity distribution companies that serve the National Capital Territory of Delhi, along with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited.
BRPL was incorporated in the year 2002, and took over the operations of the erstwhile Delhi Vidyut Board. The company has a customer base of over 4 million.
BSES Rajdhani Power Limited is a part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group. The company has a distribution network of over 4,000 circuit kilometers, and 22,000 distribution transformers.
The company has been conferred with several awards and recognitions, including the prestigious ‘Best Utility Award’ by the Ministry of Power, Government of India.

BSES Rajdhani Power Limited, also known as BRPL, is a power distribution company that supplies electricity to more than 3.1 million customers in the National Capital Region of India. It is a part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group.
BRPL was incorporated in Delhi on August 26, 2002 as a wholly owned subsidiary of BSES Limited. BSES Limited, in turn, is a joint venture between the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi and Reliance Infrastructure Limited.
BRPL distributes electricity in the South and West Delhi regions, which have a combined area of 1,206 square kilometers and a population of over 11 million.
BRPL has a network of over 5,000 kilometers of underground cables, 30,000 kilometers of overhead cables, and 4,000 kilometers oftransformers. It has also set up a state-of-the-art control room which monitors the distribution network round-the-clock.
In addition to its power distribution business, BRPL also has a presence in the generation and transmission businesses. It has a 400 MW thermal power plant in the Dadri region of Uttar Pradesh and a 765 kV transmission line from Dadri to Delhi.

It has been consistently investing in upgrading its infrastructure and has been recognized for its efforts by various forums.
