BSES Yamuna Power Limited, also known as BYPL, is a power distribution company that supplies electricity to over 400,000 consumers in the North and East Delhi regions of India. It is one of the three electricity distribution companies that supply power to Delhi, the other two being BSES Rajdhani Power Limited and BSES Delhi Limited.
BYPL was incorporated in July 2002 and took over the operations of erstwhile Delhi Vidyut Board’s North and East Delhi Electricity Supply Circles. BSES Yamuna Power Limited’s service area covers an area of 1,334 square kilometers and includes the areas of North Delhi, Central Delhi, East Delhi and Shahdara.
As of March 31, 2019, BYPL has a customer base of over 400,000 and a network of over 6,000 kilometers of low-tension and high-tension cables. The company has a distribution transformer capacity of over 12,000 and a peak demand of 1,965 MW.
BSES Yamuna Power Limited is a part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG).

BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) is a power distribution company that supplies electricity to parts of Delhi. It is one of the two power distribution companies that were created when the Delhi Electricity Supply Undertaking (DESU) was unbundled in 2002. The other power distribution company is BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL).
BYPL covers an area of about 710 square kilometers and supplies electricity to a population of about 4.4 million in Central, East and South-East Delhi. BYPL has a consumer base of about 2.2 million.
BYPL has a network of about 650 kilometers of high-voltage transmission lines, 8,000 kilometers of low-voltage distribution lines and 830 distribution transformers. The company has a peak demand of about 1,600 MW.
BYPL has been consistently striving to improve the quality and reliability of power supply in its area of operation. In order to achieve this, the company has undertaken various initiatives such as upgrading of its distribution network, installation of new transformers, etc.
In order to further improve the quality of power supply, BYPL has also set up a state-of-the-art Centralized Control Room (CCR) which is equipped with the latest technology and equipment. The CCR enables the company to monitor and control the entire distribution network in real time.
BYPL is also working on various other initiatives such as setting up of an Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) for East Delhi, installation of smart meters, etc. which will further improve the quality and reliability of power supply in its area of operation.
